For several years Renew Church has had a heart to reach the community of Morgan Park and surrounding areas. We have been prayerfully considering how to make connections with the people in these communities. We know that many living in these locations are struggling with economic insecurities with inflation, food and housing costs at an all-time high. Many of the programs and thrift stores that have offered affordable options for those in need have sadly shut their doors. Our goal is to offer clothing and household items at an affordable rate, significantly lower than Savers, and Goodwill, as well as offer free food and clothing options for those who need it most. We want to show the love of Jesus to all who come to Renew Thrift Store, pointing them towards Jesus and getting them plugged into healthy Christian community. We have been truly amazed by all the doors God has opened to make this outreach possible. We are excited to see what God has in store for this exciting new ministry! Where does this money go? All proceeds go to the local community to help families in need and to support kids programs.
